Mr. Song Sorphorn joined the DP Bank as Head of Legal Department in January 2026.

He has more than 15 years of experience in banking law, litigation and land & property law. Prior to joining the Bank, he served as VP & Head of Litigation Department at a leading commercial bank in Cambodia. He began his career in 2011 at a Microfinance Deposit-Taking Institution (MDI), where he rose from Legal Officer to VP & Head of Litigation Department. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for navigating complex banking cases and fostering strategic partnerships with judicial authorities.

Beyond his corporate role, he is a Certified Practicing Lawyer and a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

He holds a Professional Master’s Degree in Law (Land & Property Law) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics. He has also completed extensive professional training with the Bar Association and holds several certifications in legal practice and dispute resolution.
